Coffee, done properly
Black tea and coffee in the traditional style, plus espresso machine drinks — cappuccinos, lattes and frappes for when it's warm outside (most days).

Fort Kochi · Kerala
A cozy little café on Princess Street — filter coffee and cappuccinos in the morning, appam and curry by day, homemade cake whenever you like.
The café
Cafe Kochi sits in the heart of old Fort Kochi's heritage quarter, on the corner of Princess Street and Peter Celli Street. It's the kind of place where mornings start with strong filter coffee, afternoons stretch over lunch, and the last tables fill up for a quiet espresso or frappe before close.
The menu travels from Kerala kitchens — appam and egg curry, puttu and kadala — to café classics like pasta, burgers and fresh salads, finishing with homemade cakes that are made in-house.
What people come for
A short menu done well is better than a long one done twice. These are the things regulars order again and again.

Appam with egg curry. Puttu with kadala curry. Dosa. The slow-cooked, everyday comfort food of Kerala homes — served in a café setting.
Homemade cake slices most days — and full cakes made to order. Call ahead a day or two for birthdays and celebrations.
